So the family and I went on what would become essentially a ten day vacation over the past week and a half. I had visions of grandeur about getting all sorts of writing done while we were gone. You know the feeling, when you’re like oh man, I’m gonna have so much time to do stuff, and then you realize it’s a vacation, and in this instance it was a vacation with 20+ people living in the same house. So, needless to say, I think I got even less writing done, and then when you get back you’re ten days behind pretty much everywhere, but you’re easily ten days ahead in spending awesome time with family. I also forgot the fact that this process is actually a lot more than writing and requires access to picture albums, video, research materials, video editing and my writing partner, Amazon Alexa.
So as I was hoping to get back in line with a mid-week entry schedule it’s actually gone the other way. Anyhow, enough with the excuses, I’m working hot and heavy, and by hot and heavy I mean whenever I can find time (including while I’m sitting on the toilet, though I’ve always committed to myself that despite consistency and self inflicted deadlines I would never allow it to be forced…the writing that is), on a number of entries that did surface to mind while spending all that time doing nothing, and yet somehow also doing a lot, and one of those recollections will land here soon! Thanks for checking in on the reg as I try to get back to the reg, but not entirely reg because that would be boring.
